A Note to Clients...
Every company, department, and situation has different nuances and requirements that must be met for the perfect match. A client once requested "an extra pair of hands…with a head attached", when placing an order for a freelancer during crunch time. We thought this was a fabulous way to indicate how Taylor Hodson goes the extra mile in finding candidates that give businesses an edge. We know that "a warm body" just won't do in the highly competitive world of fashion. Through an extensive screening and interview process, we get to know our candidates and are able to accurately dovetail their skills and personalities with the needs and "cultures" of our clients. We look for talented, reliable people with a positive attitude towards their work, whether it is a one-day freelance assignment or a permanent Senior Design position. Our clients value our personal, hands-on service. We understand the sense of urgency that accompanies openings in this industry- particularly on the freelance level- and operate based on that knowledge. Our clients rely on our ability to send over that last minute Sewer to put finishing touches on a garment hours before a runway show, or the Production Assistant to fill in when a permanent employee calls in sick unexpectedly. Many of our freelancers have proven themselves so indispensable our clients offered them permanent positions.
A Note to Candidates...
The lively environment of our sunny loft offices immediately alerts our applicants to the fact that we are a bit different than the other staffing firms out there. No one is a number here. At Taylor Hodson, our relationship with our candidates is very important to us. Interviews are by appointment only to allow us to take the necessary time with each applicant. Sitting down face to face to review portfolios, discuss past job experiences and establish aspirations gives us a real insight into which positions will suit each candidate best. Understanding their talents and goals enables us to make the most successful matches between candidate and client.
